Quality of Care

BHC engages in numerous activities to measure and improve the quality of services provided to members for whom the network is responsible. Consumer and provider satisfaction surveys are conducted to solicit feedback about the behavioral health care program on an ongoing basis. Focus studies are also conducted to analyze follow-up care after hospitalization, medication use, recidivism and overall utilization of each level of care. Quality improvement projects are developed to address areas identified through the data collection process.
